There were seven strong contestants this year, all aiming for first place. I was amazed at the variety of speeches from a short list of titles. Well done to all of the contestants, it was a tough competition this year and the judges had a tough job to decide on deciding the top three places.
A massive congratulations to Helen Mahon from Stockport Ladies Speakers Club for winning the Stockport Bowl 2017 competition.
And a big well done to Mike Rhodes and Sian Young for 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
